Data residency and ZDR
Route only where the provider contract and runtime satisfy policy
Region and zero-data-retention are eligibility properties, not labels inferred from a provider name. Octoryn evaluates the configured runtime, provider evidence and workspace policy before dispatch.
Enforce runtime residency
Constrain eligible provider deployments to approved regions. Client geography alone does not prove processing location; use the actual provider runtime and exit path.
Require declared ZDR
A ZDR rule only permits routes whose current provider evidence supports the required retention posture. Unknown or undeclared posture must not be treated as compliant.
Retain decision evidence
Record the policy version, selected route, region, capability evidence and decision reason without persisting prompt or output content merely for routing explanation.
